After receiving questions about the differences between the independently and traditionally published versions of Fear the Flames, I wanted to answer them all as easily as I can!

I worked on my own to edit the first version of Fear the Flames after several editing services fell through, so it was hard to catch or add everything that I wanted to. Working with my editor Shauna Summers has been a delightful experience. She's helped me get this version of the book exactly where I want it to be and having another set of eyes really helped to create the book I wanted to make. I'm beyond thankful to be working with a team that loves my world and characters as much as I do.

"When is the traditionally published version of Fear the Flames coming out?"

• The traditionally published version of Fear the Flames will be officially released on September 17th, 2024. 
• The first book in the four-part series is currently available for pre-order on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. 

"Is the indie version of Fear the Flames still available for purchase?"

• No! The independently published version of Fear the Flames is no longer available for purchase anywhere. I promise, the new version will be well worth the wait!

"If Fear the Flames is being republished, when is Wrath of the Dragons coming out?"

• As of now, Wrath of the Dragons is scheduled for publication in 2025, but I will keep you posted with updates as my team and I get them!

"Do I need to read the new traditionally published version of Fear the Flames to understand Wrath of the Dragons?"

• Yes! You do have to read the new version of Fear the Flames to understand Wrath of the Dragons! 
• Almost nothing from the original, independently published has been removed from the book, but new details and plots have been added to the story to move the plot forward. 
• Things have been simplified from the independent version to keep the pace moving faster and the plot thick, but all of it is essential to the Wrath of the Dragons plotline. 

"Is the traditionally published version longer than the independently published one?"

• The traditionally published version of Fear the Flames will be shorter than the independent version.
• It still sets up what's to come in the future of The Band of Thieves' story, though, and adds to it! Strong friendships, juicy romance, thrilling action - it's there and more!

"What should I expect from the new version of Fear the Flames?"

• Expect the unexpected! There's going to be a second heist and way more dragons than the last version. 
• You'll see more romantic tension and more action in the plot! You'll even see stronger friendships between the characters and action in Imirath.  
• You'll probably cry over the newly added details of Cayden Veles' backstory and love our favorite commander. Forbidden love babies, get ready!
• There's so many small details sprinkled here & there that you'll love every second of it!
